Cinnamyl acetate is an acetate ester resulting from the formal condensation of cinnamyl alcohol with acetic acid. Found in cinnamon leaf oil. It has a role as an insecticide, a metabolite and a fragrance. It is functionally related to a cinnamyl alcohol.
